According to Josh Gershon from Scout.com, 2014 Wing, Zylan Cheatham has been receiving interest from the GU staff. Zylan hails from South Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona. From what we know, Zylan has only received one scholarship offer thus far, from Arizona State. He is a tall, lanky wing around 6-7 and needs to add more weight to his frame. Read more after the Jump.
According to respected west coast recruiting analyst Frank Burlison who had the chance to watch Cheatham at the Spring Classic in Vegas last weekend:
"Athletically, is as good as they come in “wing-types” in the western Class of 2014. He was on the finishing end of a lot of Casey Benson passes over the weekend."Obviously the staff has put out some feelers on Zylan, however at this time it would appear that he is in the infant stages of his recruitment and we should be aware that anything could happen at this point.
