D.J. Fenner is a very intriguing wing prospect from the 2013 Class, and he was offered by GU today. He currently attends Seattle Prep, but recently spent some time in the DC area. His game is very refined on the offensive end and he has a chance to come in and start right away at the three obviously depending on who else the staff brings in at the position. Rivals.com has him listed at 6-5 but he is still growing and may be closer to 6-6 by the time he attends College. Read more after the Jump.
He has been pursued by Georgetown, UCLA, UW, and of course the Zags. To this point Rivals does not show he has been offered by any other school. He has been rumored to be scheduling an unofficial visit to Spokane soon. It would seem the Zags have a very real opportunity to get in early and secure a commitment from D.J. He had this to say on his twitter account earlier today:
"really feelinI for one am very, very excited about the potential to add a player of D.J.'s caliber. While his recruitment is somewhat in its early stages, i feel he has a chance to be a special player. We will keep you abreast of any new recruiting news, as always GO ZAGS!#GonzagaUniversity right now... hmmmmm"

Here is a highlight tape from his freshman year, obviously he is finishing up his junior year now so you draw your conclusions about the leap in his game:

Has a very pretty shot, would love to see more elevation on his jump shot. Happy to see GU go after this type of player. :)
