Recruit Profile: Zach Hanson

According to Rivals.com, the Zags have offered Zach Hanson of South Dakota. He is a 6-9 Forward in the 2013 class who is being hotly pursued by Nebraska, Arizona State, Creighton, and others. From what we can tell he is a true front court power forward, somewhat similar to Ryan Spangler. Read more after the Jump.

His recruitment has really began to pick up steam and its likely he will be eventually offered by most of the Big 12 and perhaps some of the Big Ten. He is a very bright kid who has been watched closely by Ray Giacoletti. He did win the Gatorade Player of the Year for South Dakota this past year. Congrats to him for that!

Right now it would appear Nebraska is in the lead for his services, however we feel the Zags got in on this one early and have a chance to make some noise down the stretch. The question is if he is willing to leave his region to come to Spokane? Only time will tell. We will keep you posted on Zach and all the other recruiting news as it happens. Go Zags!
