My Take:
When the season began, i expected Portland to be a formidable foe. They posted big early season wins over Oregon, UCLA, and Minnesota. In the last few weeks, that expectation has dramatically changed with losses to Portland State, Idaho and Nevada. Ultimately they are a team that is dangerous, but unpredicable, there is no doubt they possess the talent to potentially crack the NCAA Tournament, but it may take a near flawless run through the WCC Conference schedule or Tournament to justify a selection. This is at the Chiles Center, so expect a good game.

Final Score: Gonzaga 82 Portland 70
