What it means for the future (Analysis):
We came out guns blazing for the first 15 Minutes, pulling out a lead of 21 in hostile Chicago. So Why did the game become so close? Mental Lapses on the offensive end caused 21 turnovers over the last 25 Minutes of the game. For as good as we played to start out, it was just as bad to finish. What transpired in the end was a much more battle tested Zag team continuing their resiliency and toughing out a win. Elias Harris was a monster on the boards. Matt Bouldin almost had a triple double, and Robert Sacre was Dominant in the low post, not only scoring but causing Illinois top post player to foul out. Great Victory, even better set up for the start of conference play.
