Drew Barham Transfers to Gonzaga

According to Jim Meehan of the Spokesman Review, former Memphis Tiger Drew Barham will transfer to Gonzaga. He will be a 4th year Junior and be eligible to play immediately.

Drew did not play last season, and when used the two seasons prior he was used sparingly averaging only about 6 minutes per game for his career. So do we expect Drew to be a starter? No, but he is definitely a guy who can come in and help out in short bursts. Drew is 6-7, wiry, but has a good shooting stroke. Some have already compared him to Mathis Monninghoff and think he may be able to provide some of what Mathis brought to the table, yet feel comfortable with his role on the bench.
