Schedule News

According to Zac Jackson of Fox Sports Ohio, West Virginia and Gonzaga have been involved in discussions on a home and home series to begin this season in Morgantown. He lists Bob Huggins as his source. With the potential to play West Virginia in the Old Spice Classic, the Zags may actually play the Mountaineers twice.

With the recent new the Zags will play Kansas State in the Battle in Seattle, its obvious the staff is trying to fill the schedule with solid, tough games to get this squad ready for the tournament. At this point the schedule looks something like this:

  • Old Spice Classic, 3 games (Clemson, Davidson, Marist, Oklahoma, UTEP, Vanderbilt, W. Virginia)
  • Illinois at K2
  • Baylor at K2
  • at Butler in Indianapolis
  • at Oklahoma State in Stillwater
  • at Washington State
  • Kansas State in Seattle
These are the Rumored games:
  •  at West Virginia in Morgantown
  • Arizona in Phoenix?
  • at New Mexico
  • at DePaul in Chicago
  • Potentially could continue series with Notre Dame, Xavier or Michigan State, although that is unlikely.
We will keep you posted on the schedule as we learn more. As Always, GO ZAGS!
