Hey everybody, I created a group called "zagaholics" on Fox Sports...sign up for the free Fox Sports NCAA Tourney Brackets Challenge for a chance to win 1 Million dollars and other prizes at the link below. Good luck, and may the best prognosticator win!~
Its pretty obvious they are better than their record suggests. To tell the truth I was hoping for Santa Clara -- LMU will push us more, of that I have no doubt.
Kudos to LMU! Say what you will, they earned a shot at the Zags the hard way!
I don't think they are better than their record suggests. They have barely won (I do give them credit for winning) against the bottom half of the conference. But can they succeed against Gonzaga? I don't think so. Look at their stats. A team shooting in the low 40% range and only hitting 60% of their free throws is not going to upstage us.
LMU definately earned their spot into the semi's. I'd rather have faced Santa Clara though. If only because it would have helped our RPI more than a win vs LMU.
But no worries...LMU will never win 4 games in a row, right? No way they do what Uconn, or was it Georgetown, did?

So, Zags get LMU in the WCC semi's tomorrow night.
Can't believe that lowly LMU beat Portland, USF, and now Santa Clara in three successive nights.
LMU was 1-15 in the WCC and in last place by a mile. Additionally, they had lost 14 games in a row before the WCC Tourney.....amazing.
Wonder if they'll have anything left in the tank for the Zags?
