Mike Hart Voted Sports Illustrated All-Glue Team Captain

In quite the Cinderella story, Mike Hart has been named the captain of Sports Illustrated's 14th annual All-Glue team. An absolutely stunning achievement for a guy that nobody recruited out of high school. Congratulations to Mike on his successful and incredible journey!

Wow, just wow.
Mike will surely be missed.
I can't help but think about all those fans who kept bashing him and now probably hold him high in their "all time loved Zags" category.
Who sez the Cinderella story is over??

Remember all the bitching about him even being on the floor? And the negativity directed towards Coach Few for allowing us to play "4 on 5", because Hart was an offensive liability?

I remember supportive posters took a lot of fire over on slipperstillfits because they kept saying how valuable he was.

Apparently his detractors, which included me to some degree, were wrong.

Creating turnovers, getting rebounds, disrupting opponents offensives, steals, and he just seems to have a knack for coming up with huge plays when they are most needed.

Wouldn't it be poetic justice if an NCAA Tourney came down to the wire, and Hart hit the game winner?

Well, I could tell you 'told ya so' . . . so I will.

In truth, Hart exceeded my expectations by quite a bit. The award is a no brainer. Well deserved.
