Can we see the ballots? :)
I think this is pretty good except I think Ohio St at 4 is a little high..otherwise pretty nice!
Also, for the readers, agree disagree? Your top 16?
thanks!
I think i might start uploading the excel document as a google doc link so everyone can see how these teams were ranked. Maybe next week, im swamped at work today ;)
Can't get much closer than you all did. I can't quite figure out why all the love for Arizona. I have not been that impressed watching them so far. My guess is they will start to fall out once the competition for them picks up some.
Glad to see Oklahoma State is still ranked and that Illinois was added this week. For awhile there I was afraid that we would not have any top 25 teams on our schedule.
Let's take care of business for the next few games while fine-tuning our rotation and working on free throws before we hit the stretch of Illinois, Kansas State, Baylor and Oklahoma State.
I think Illinois will be the toughest team we play this year before the tournament.
Zags have won some games in grand style but they are far from a finished product. There is much room for improvement . . . and that is a good thing!
Dont forget Pacific...thats a trap game
Pacific has played some good ball this year. Doubt they will fair well against the Zags but, we shall see.
What are these "Week 2 of Rankings"?
Who sets the order and what are the numbers behind the team names about?
Thanks.
These are rankings done by the writers of zagaholic.com. The numbers to the write are how many votes the received I believe.
Yeah every writer submits their top 16, I then assign points from 16 for 1st place to 1 for 16th place and add them together, the team with the most points are ranked and the far number in parenthesis is the number of first place votes. Essentially it's our own AP poll, it's calculated the exact same way.
wow-very cool
Thanks for filling me in.
