Recruit Profile: Andrew Chrabascz

According to AJ Stokes of NewEnglandRecruitingReport.com, Gonzaga is now showing interest in Andrew Chrabascz. Andrew is in the class of 2013 and hails from Ashburnham, MA attending Cushing Academy. He is a 6-7, 240 pound forward who has been getting a lot of attention from teams like Creighton, Davidson, UMass, Temple, Butler, Alabama, and Boston College.

Andrew most likely is a "4" at the next level as he has excellent size and power. He is known to possess an astute basketball IQ and great court awareness. He is incredibly smart and understands how to move with and without the ball. He often exhibits excellent footwork within the low post, but can step outside as well. Chrabascz is able to impact the game in a variety of ways. He has a knack for creating his own shot and should be a good offensive player at the next level. We are attempting to locate some tape on him and will update this post once we have more information.

His recruitment by the Zags is in the early stages, and right now he would appear to be an outside shot as the staff is just now putting its feelers out there on him. We will keep you posted as we learn more about Andrew and his recruitment. As always, GO ZAGS!

It does seem like we are getting in on him a little late. Most of the other mid-major teams have already made offers.

However, that is what the evaluation periods are for; to find talent that will fit with the program that you may not have taken notice of earlier as well as confirming that the recruits you did target early in the recruiting process are still the students you want.

Thanks for updating on this newest target. I just wish we would get the three needed committments so I don't have to worry about the future anymore and can start focusing on this coming year.

i appreciate your commentary on this, and like you i also cant wait for the process to complete...but then, we have to worry about 2014...then 2015...then 2016...lol...its a never ending process and truly we will live and die by the staffs ability to lock up top notch talent.
