Kelly is the consummate diplomat isn't he?

Yep, he held his own and was very well spoken for sure. He did very impressive in his interview.

Two things I would not have said though were:

1. When asked if he had any concerns about the next level he mentioned the "next jump of physicality, stronger, faster, quicker" being things he thought about.... IMO, maybe not the best statement to make when some think you are not tough enough already. Not saying he is soft but some have issues with his long hair, and then there is this reputation of GU not being as tough as say, a physical Big east team.

2. He said he couldn't stop 50 year old NBA Hall of Famer John Stockton from passing in practice even though "he knew the pass was coming." Somehow that just feels like maybe not the best thing to be saying.

These people are looking at you under a microscope. Carefuls Kelly, lol!

Where Stockton is concerned, there were a lot of very good NBA players that, if honest, would have said the same thing. :-)

That's funny, and true.

The old adage "Honesty is the best policy", is probably not in your best interest when interviewing for an NBA team, in all honesty, lol.

So where do you think he goes? Will Toronto wheel & deal and get in the pic? Oklahoma, Philly, Celts, Portland? Just curious....if you nail it I'll ship you a FREE Zag T. :-)

NBA Scout: What are your main concerns with playing in the NBA?

Olynyk: The physicality

NBA Scout: Yeah, that's odd, we were concerned about that very same thing.

What Kelly might have said is this: My main concern is that Ima KILL someone! I am so FREAKIN aggressive and amped to get slammin with these NBA bigs, slobber is runnin down my face constantly!!~

NBA Scout: Good answer Kelly, we like that.

I'd really like to see Kelly in Portland. But that ain't happenin.

Philly is needy but I don't seen them picking Kelly in round one.

Boston is my best guess. It is a team that will be rebuilding from the ground up and Kelly's versatility / team first attitude will be prized and utilized best by Doc Rivers!

XXL if you please! ;-)

Actually, I don't need a T-shirt. If I win, donate it to someone that would be thrilled to get it!

Is the kid good or what!

Not drafted by Boston . . . or was he?

Quid....you are the man, you nailed it!

My question to you was "So where do you think he goes?" And...he is going to the Celtics just like you guessed.

Kinda disappointing that I won't be sending you the T, but I'll make sure to donate one in your honor to a needy, deserving Zag fan.

Thanks man, that was very generous, and classy of you.

GO ZAGS!!~ Let's get Wiltjer, Reid and Perkins!
