GoZags: Kelly Announces Plans
Sorry to see him go but the handwriting was on the wall and this comes as no real surprise. When the iron was as hot at it was it was time to go. We wish Kelly every success in the NBA!
Hopefully, we can land Tulane's Josh Davis and/or UNLV's Mike Moser to shore up our front court.

Did this have any impact?
1. His current teammate Elias Harris: would have been a lottery pick had he went out after his frosh season, he stayed, now probably destined to play in Europe.
2. Austin Daye: Projected a top 5 pick after his freshman season, stayed another year, and his stock dropped to middle first round.
3. Ronny Turiaf: Would have been a lottery pick, stayed one more season, injured one ankle once, the other twice, his numbers dropped, and he was drafted out of the guaranteed money.
Sure, a lot more had to go into his decision but all he had to do was look no further than his own team.
I knew he was gone. I would have stayed though. Roll the dice one more year, instead of going lower first round, get into the top 5 and get many more millions.
