I've been pretty quiet on the website due to the fact that I am the campus correspondent and, well, not currently on campus. However, I found this video while on ESPN today, and it looks as though Andy Katz and Doug Gottlieb are VERY high on the Zags next year. What do you think of their commentary ? Wow....that is some mighty fine praise indeed.
My feelings that going into this season is that there really are no weaknesses.
The Zags have a strong back court with Pangos & Bell having gained a year of experience. Add in Kyle Dranginis coming off a red shirt and Stockton, it looks solid.
The front court is loaded, with Dower, Olynyk coming off a red shirt, Harris returning for his senior season and newcomer Karnowski could be a beast.
I always think we have a shot at a final 4, but in all honesty I have drank a gallon of Zag koolaid and have the shades on too.
This year I really believe it. I see us to the Elite 8. With some luck maybe a Final 4.
