The Zags officially offered Xavier Rathan-Mayes from the 2013 recruiting class yesterday. You can view his Rivals.com profile here. He is a 6-2 combo guard originally hailing from Toronto, Canada. He is currently ranked #66 overall by Rivals and attends the same Prep school that OJ Mayo attended (Huntington Prep in WV). Obviously with his proximity to WVU he is being heavily recruited by Bob Huggins and Co. Read more after the Jump.
Could he land in Spokane? Right now it seems like a long shot, but the staff would not be doing their due diligence if they didn't go after a guy as talented as Xavier. He has picked up close to 30 Scholarship offers at this point and im sure we will see him dwindle down his list soon. We will keep you posted as more information comes down the pipeline, as always GO ZAGS!
